Business Development & Continuity
Plans
How does a business development plan differ from other
plans?
A business development plan
is most likely to be written as a business plan for
an existing business, which is looking to introduce
new products or expand its existing range. It may involve
seeking additional funding or merely be for clearly
setting out the objectives and strategy for management
and key staff.
What is a business continuity plan and how does it
differ from other plans?
A continuity plan should be
part of the continuous business planning process. Ideally,
a company that has written a business plan should review
the plan against results at least every six months.
This is especially important for high-growth start-up
businesses as well as growing established businesses.
If you use a software business planning tool, such as
stepbystep, then the process of updating is relatively
easy. |
